IBC Galvanised Spill Bin – A Reliable Solution for Hazardous Liquid Containment
In industries where hazardous liquids are handled, proper spill containment is crucial for ensuring safety, preventing environmental damage, and complying with stringent regulations. The IBC Galvanised Spill Bin is designed to provide a secure and reliable solution for storing and containing bulk liquids, such as chemicals, oils, or hazardous materials, in a way that meets both safety and environmental standards.
Key Features of the IBC Galvanised Spill Bin
The IBC Galvanised Spill Bin is designed for heavy-duty use in industrial settings where large quantities of liquids are stored or transported. It provides a robust containment system, offering significant storage and spill capacity, making it a preferred choice for businesses dealing with bulk materials.
Safe Working Load and Durability
With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 2500kg, the IBC Galvanised Spill Bin can easily accommodate large, heavy loads without compromising on safety or structural integrity. This load capacity ensures the bin can securely contain multiple intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) or other large containers typically used in the industrial and chemical sectors. The unit weight of 195kg also speaks to its durable, heavy-duty construction that can withstand the rigours of industrial operations.
Made from galvanised steel, the spill bin is highly resistant to corrosion, which is especially important when dealing with potentially corrosive or hazardous liquids. The galvanised finish ensures that the bin remains in excellent condition even when exposed to harsh chemicals or outdoor conditions, making it a long-lasting investment for any business.
Large Bund Capacity for Maximum Protection
One of the standout features of the IBC Galvanised Spill Bin is its bund capacity of 1250 litres. This significant capacity ensures that the bin provides ample containment for potential spills, meeting Australian safety standards for hazardous liquid storage. Whether you're storing oil drums, chemical containers, or IBCs, the generous spill capacity offers peace of mind that any spills will be contained within the bin, preventing contamination and mitigating environmental risks.
Optimised Design for Easy Transport and Use
The IBC Galvanised Spill Bin has been designed with practicality and ease of use in mind. With overall dimensions of 1456mm (L) x 1456mm (W) x 830mm (H), it is large enough to accommodate standard IBCs or other storage containers while still being compact enough to be easily moved and positioned within your facility.
The galvanised finish ensures that the bin is resistant to rust and corrosion, even when used outdoors or in demanding industrial environments. The solid steel construction ensures that the spill bin maintains its strength and structural integrity over time, providing long-term durability that is critical in a high-demand worksite.
A Versatile and Cost-Effective Solution
