Fork Gas Storage Cage – 4 Cylinders: Safe, Secure, and Compliant Storage for LPG Cylinders
LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) cylinders are essential in powering forklifts and other industrial equipment across various work environments. These cylinders, while incredibly useful, can also pose significant safety risks if not stored and handled correctly. Whether you're in a warehouse, construction site, or manufacturing plant, the proper storage of LPG cylinders is vital to ensuring workplace safety. The Fork Gas Storage Cage - 4 Cylinders is a heavy-duty, safe, and compliant solution designed specifically for storing LPG cylinders used in forklifts.
Key Features of the Fork Gas Storage Cage – 4 Cylinders
1. Heavy Duty Steel Construction
The Fork Gas Storage Cage - 4 Cylinders is built from heavy-duty steel, making it incredibly durable and able to withstand the rigorous demands of industrial environments. It’s designed to provide secure storage for four LPG cylinders, ensuring that they are kept safe and protected from external damage. The solid steel construction not only guarantees the strength of the cage but also ensures that it remains intact during the harsh conditions typically encountered on worksites.
2. Powdercoated Green Finish
To provide enhanced durability and visibility, the Fork Gas Storage Cage comes with a powdercoated green finish. This finish offers a robust layer of protection against corrosion, making it ideal for use in outdoor and industrial environments where exposure to weather elements and chemicals is common. The bright green colour makes the cage highly visible, reducing the chances of accidental damage and ensuring easy identification of the storage unit, particularly in busy work areas.
3. Cylinder Chain Restraint
One of the standout features of this storage cage is the cylinder chain restraint system, which secures the LPG cylinders in place. The chain restraint ensures that the cylinders do not shift or move while being transported, reducing the risk of instability or accidental dislodging. This feature is crucial for preventing potential hazards like leaks or accidents that can occur from unsecured cylinders, making it an essential safety feature in any workplace that deals with gas cylinders.
4. Padlockable Doors for Enhanced Security
The Fork Gas Storage Cage is equipped with padlockable doors, adding an extra layer of security. By being able to lock the doors, the cage prevents unauthorised access, which is especially important in environments where only trained personnel should be handling hazardous materials like LPG. The lock ensures that the storage area remains secure, reducing the risk of theft or tampering and offering peace of mind knowing that the cylinders are safely stored when not in use.
5. Compliant with Australian Standards
This gas storage cage is designed and built to comply with the relevant Australian Standards for storing LPG cylinders. Compliance with these safety regulations is critical, ensuring that the cage meets the legal and safety requirements for hazardous materials. By adhering to these standards, the Fork Gas Storage Cage - 4 Cylinders guarantees safe storage and protects your workplace from potential regulatory issues.
6. Compact and Space-Efficient Design
Despite its heavy-duty construction, the Fork Gas Storage Cage - 4 Cylinders is designed to be compact and efficient. It stores four LPG cylinders in a relatively small footprint, making it an excellent choice for workplaces with limited space. The cage’s internal dimensions (690mm x 680mm x 845mm) and external dimensions (730mm x 730mm x 990mm) provide a snug fit for the cylinders, allowing for a streamlined storage solution that maximises available space.
7. Easy Handling and Transport
The cage is designed with ease of handling in mind. It features fork pockets at the base, allowing the cage to be easily moved with a forklift or pallet jack. This makes it highly convenient to relocate the gas cylinders within your facility, ensuring that they can be transported quickly and efficiently without the need for additional equipment or manual labour. This feature is especially useful in dynamic environments where materials need to be moved around frequently.
