Verdex / MHA — Our Story

Verdex services the entire Australian market with fast despatch and delivery to any destination throughout Australia.

1985 - How it all begun

The MHA group started back in 1985 in a small warehouse in Mortlake NSW under the name of Mobile Storage Systems. Mobile Storage Systems predominately sold compacting shelving systems, pallet racking, longspan shelving and other small parts storage items and was run by a small family team which today is still run as a family business.

1992

In 1992 Mobile Storage Systems relocated to a larger warehouse in Seven Hills where it expanded its product offering and serviced businesses all around NSW with storage, trolleys and other warehouse equipment.

2005

In 2005 Mobile Storage Systems merged with Manual Handling Australia, expanding its product offering to customised manual handling solutions including conveyors, bin tippers, drum lifting equipment, powered trolleys, scissor lifts, pallet trucks and a huge range of trolleys. Manual Handling released its first combined large full colour printed catalogue in 2008 which contained hundreds of pages of quality materials handling equipment ready to service Australia.

Fast forward to 2012 and Manual Handling Australia and Mobile Storage Systems consolidated both names into MHA Products and a new website for MHA was created to combine the MobileStorage & ManualHandling old websites into one powerful complete brand MHA at www.mhaproducts.com.au then www.verdex.com.au which is the site you are on today.

2019

MHA was growing rapidly and in 2019 we relocated 3 separate warehouses in Seven Hills NSW to Marsden Park NSW which tripled our warehouse capacity so we could hold larger inventory levels and further expand our product offering to our customers. We also opened an office and distribution facility in Melbourne and Brisbane and had a local customer service and sales team in each location.

2023

MHA merged with Verdex Equipment and opened larger warehouses in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The Verdex range of products dramatically increased our offering to our customers and with the larger warehouse facilities we were able to hold larger inventory and service our customers faster with delivery daily to any destination around Australia.

2024

Verdex opened a branch in Adelaide and now has four locations in Australia including Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The Verdex range of products dramatically increased our offering to our customers and with the larger warehouse facilities we were able to hold larger inventory and service our customers faster with delivery daily to any destination around Australia.

2025 - and still family owned

Today the MHA Verdex group is the largest supplier of materials handling and workplace equipment in Australia with national distribution and the largest range of workplace safety products which we hold in stock.
