Why Choose a Safety Cabinet for Corrosive Goods?

Corrosive materials can cause serious harm to workers, damage equipment, and even lead to environmental contamination if not handled correctly. Accurate storage is critical not only for preventing accidents, but also for complying with regulatory standards. The 100L Safety Cabinet for Corrosive Goods is designed to handle these challenges, providing a safe and compliant storage solution that meets national safety standards.

This cabinet is made from heavy-duty materials and is designed to contain hazardous chemicals safely. With its high-quality build and advanced safety features, it promises that your business remains compliant with the Australian Standard AS 3780:2008, which regulates the safe storage and handling of corrosive substances.

Key Features of the 100L Safety Cabinet for Corrosive Goods

1. Heavy-Duty Construction for Maximum Durability

The Safety Cabinet for Corrosive Goods – 100L Capacity is built to last. It features 1.2mm thick double-skin steel walls, with a 40mm air gap between the two skins to provide thermal insulation. This construction helps prevent the risk of fire or chemical reactions due to extreme heat. The durable design guarantees that the cabinet can endure the challenges of industrial environments, providing long-term reliability and assurance.

2. Liquid-Tight Spill Containment

One of the most important features of this safety cabinet is the 150mm deep liquid-tight sump. This sump effectively contains any accidental spills or leaks, ensuring that hazardous materials do not contaminate the surrounding area. It provides more security, protecting your facility from potential damage and minimising the risk of environmental pollution.

3. Sequential Self-Closing Door Mechanism with Three-Point Lock

Safety is a top concern, and this cabinet comes with a sequential self-closing door mechanism, ensuring that the doors automatically close after use. This reduces the risk of exposure to harmful chemicals and prevents accidents. The three-point locking system ensures the cabinet remains tightly sealed, protecting the contents from unauthorized access and minimising the risk of spills.

4. Adjustable Shelves with Spill Trays for Better Organisation

The 100L Safety Cabinet features adjustable galvanised shelves that allow for customisable storage to suit your particular needs. Each shelf is equipped with PVC spill trays, which provide additional containment for any minor spills that may occur. This added feature makes it easy to organise chemicals and ensures that small leaks or drips are safely contained.

5. Ample Storage Capacity

With a 100L capacity, this safety cabinet provides enough space for storing corrosive substances in various sizes. It can accommodate up to 15 x 2.5L drums, making it perfect for businesses that handle a larger volume of corrosive chemicals. The single shelf allows for effective storage, keeping chemicals easily accessible and organised for safe handling.

6. Compliance with Australian Safety Standards

The Safety Cabinet for Corrosive Goods – 100L Capacity is built in compliance with the AS 3780:2008 standard, which governs the safe storage and handling of hazardous chemicals in Australia. This guarantees that your business meets national safety regulations and avoids potential fines or penalties.
